- Applications can be submitted at vienna.impacthub.net/program/mission-120/ now
- Custom-made accelerator programme for the five best ideas from start-ups and young entrepreneurs around the generation-spanning topic of “safer, better, longer life (together)”
- UNIQA is enhancing its engagement for sustainable innovation with the programme
Future trends such as personalized medicine, precision medicine and artificial intelligence have massive ramifications for the healthcare of tomorrow. Against the backdrop of rising life expectancy, even older people rightly expect innovative ideas, products and services for a safer, better, longer life (together, perhaps even to the age of 120). With “Mission 120”, UNIQA and Impact Hub Vienna want to find start-ups whose ideas, products and services offer innovative solutions for the diverse challenges of an ageing society. Start-ups and young entrepreneurs who are facing up to these societal challenges can now take part with their innovative solutions and apply at mission120.ideation.academy.
From a pre-selected group, an expert jury will select the five most promising young entrepreneurs and start-ups, which will then be supported in the prototype, proof of concept and running operations phases.
UNIQA is cooperating on this with Impact Hub Vienna in order to offer the start-ups a custom-made accelerator programme that will help them promote their solutions and make visible progress quickly.
The “Mission 120” programme with Impact Hub Vienna is one of the activities that UNIQA is setting up as part of its innovation programme. In addition to numerous internal projects, these include direct investments in start-ups, the involvement in WeXelerate and the promotion of female founders as part of the Female Founders Initiative.
